P-51D Mustang Aircraft 1:32 Scale 304 pc. Building Block Set by COBI – COBI-5719
The North American P-51 Mustang was the most prolific and successful U.S. single-engine WWII fighter. It was manufactured at varius North American Aviation plants throughout the USA. The P-51 was successfully used by the US Air Force and its allies during both World War II and the Korean War. The incredibly successful design resulted in approximately 15,000-16,000 being built. Today, most P-51 Mustangs are privately owned and enthusiastically flown in demonstration flights and air racing competition.
This set features the proper names of the plane printed on the nose, “Mary Rose” and “The Kelly Kid 2”, the historical number 414 207 on the vertical stabilizer and accurate USAF markings inspired by the machine flown by ace pilot Eugene W. James. The 1:32 scale model is equipped with rotating propellers, lockable landing gear, movable wheels and an opening pilot’s cockpit, in which you can place the historic pilot figure. The set also includes a block display stand on which you can display your model and name plate.
