US Bell P-39D Airacobra 1:32 Scale Building Block Set by COBI – COBI-5746
The Bell P-39D Airacobra was an American single-engine fighter aircraft from World War II featuring metal construction with a classic tail design and a tricycle undercarriage. This aircraft was produced from 1940 to 1944. The inherent P-39D advantage was exceptional maximum speed and excellent low-altitude performance. These features were successfully used by the American and Soviet air forces, making the Airacobra the primary attack aircraft to destroy German tanks and other various ground targets. At a low altitude, the Airacobra surpassed the agility of both the German Bf-109 and FW-190 aircraft.
This P-39D is offered in 1:32 scale and contains 361 COBI construction blocks. The assembled model offers multiple movable elements such as a rotating propeller, movable wing ailerons and wheels with rubber tires that can be folded to a horizontal position. Details and historical American olive color markings have also been reproduced. The cockpit can be opened to seat the pilot figure, and canopy can also be opened. A special display stand with nameplate provides a model that looks great on display.
